No vacation from alimony

The campaign draws attention to the pressing problem of alimony arrears in Poland and their negative effects for children. Lengthy litigation and enforcement of alimony, inadequate amounts of alimony awarded, difficulties in enforcing them, and parental ignorance of the real needs of children.

The hiding and undervaluing of income by parents obliged to pay alimony, the stalking and slander in retaliation for the enforcement of alimony arrears, and the desire to make a real contribution to current and temporary needs.

These are just some of the challenges facing disadvantaged children and their supporters.
Our campaign is aimed at making the public aware of the importance of paying regular alimony that provides for the real needs of children, especially taking into account rising prices, the diversity of children's needs, the right to an equal standard of living and the growing cost of living.

We draw attention to the responsibility of parents who do not live with their children to meet their needs and alimony obligations reliably, on time and in accordance with the children's welfare and their personal alimony dignity.

“There's no vacation from alimony” is a appeal to parents, courts and enforcement authorities to act in the broader interests of children, who deserve to live with dignity and have all their basic needs met, as well as timely and adequate alimony
